“Embroidered in Woodbine and Eglantine”

A talk given to the group by Dr Gillian White, who specialises in the

history and visual arts of late medieval and sixteenth-century, on

Saturday 18th November in Cirencester

Not a stitch out of place in the Elizabethan tapestry and embroidery

which Gillian White has studied. Not a word out of place as she shared

a wealth of information in clear tones and language that all of us could

enjoy along with wonderful projected illustrations. Such a pleasure to

hear every word without relying on amplifiers!

The new, portable, freestanding, information banner at the meeting.
