The Jewel of Arabia

Wayne Gregory in his talk "Oman – The Jewel of Arabia” explored the historical links between the UK and Oman, the geography and climate of Oman and an overview of its economy.  The talk then posed the question - why visit Oman? – and explored the UNESCO world heritage sites, the diverse landscapes and some of the cultural experiences that can be enjoyed.  It covered Oman - the Land of Frankincense and finally illustrated some of the outdoor activities that can be undertaken.
